ClimEx-PE partners met in Budapest

On 28 May 2026, the Utrecht University and ELTE teams finally had the opportunity to meet in person in Budapest.

On behalf of Utrecht University, Jessica Lillquist and Katrin Merfeld participated in the meeting, while ELTE was represented by Judit Mádl-Szőnyi, Brigitta Czauner and Ildikó Erhardt.

During the meeting, the participants discussed the progress of the ClimEx-PE project, the planned project extension, and ongoing activities related to stakeholder interviews. The upcoming IAH 2026 World Groundwater Congress was also mentioned, where ClimEx-PE is expected to be represented.

Beyond the project-related topics, the meeting was also a valuable opportunity for informal networking and for strengthening the cooperation between the Utrecht University and ELTE teams.
