Andrea Velich Presents at ACMC 2024 on Visual Arts and Climate Change
We are thrilled to announce that Andrea Velich (Eötvös Loránd University), a key member of the ClimEx-PE project, recently presented at the Arts and Cultural Management Conference (ACMC) 2024 in Vienna, Austria. The conference, held from November 7-9, focused on the theme of “Transgression and Collaboration” and brought together global artists, cultural leaders, and experts to explore the evolving world of arts and cultural management.
On November 9th, Andrea delivered a presentation titled “Visual Arts to Cope with Climate Change and to Promote SDGs.” Her talk highlighted the innovative approaches of the ClimEx-PE project in using visual arts to address climate change and support the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Andrea’s insights into the intersection of art and environmental activism captivated the audience and sparked meaningful discussions.
Following her presentation, Andrea engaged with Austrian and international colleagues who expressed keen interest in the ClimEx-PE project. This interaction underscored the project’s growing impact and the vital role of art in fostering environmental awareness and action.
