ClimEx-PE Project Highlighted at ELTE's 2024 Innovation Day
On November 27, 2024, Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE) hosted its annual Innovation Day under the theme "Partnerships in Innovation." This event brought together representatives from domestic R&D support institutions, corporate and nonprofit professional workshops, and higher education institutions engaged in research. The day featured discussions on key university developments, awards for outstanding university innovations, and the ceremonial signing of an intellectual property cooperation agreement with the National Intellectual Property Office.
During the event, Szilvia Szöllősi delivered a presentation titled "International R&D Collaborations – CHARM-EU," where she highlighted the ClimEx-PE project. Our project, a successful Water4-All initiative, emerged from the CHARM-EU collaboration, showcasing the strength of international partnerships in addressing global water challenges.
The Innovation Day emphasized the importance of utilizing university-generated knowledge, fostering basic research applications, and strengthening university-industry relations. Keynote speeches and panel discussions covered a wide range of topics, including environmental and technological issues, AI-based educational solutions, and international sustainability research.
ELTE's Innovation Day continues to be a pivotal event, demonstrating the university's active role in the national innovation ecosystem and its expanding network of partnerships.
