ClimEx-PE Project Introduced at 2024 IAH Irish Group Conference

Dr. Patrick Morrissey (Trinity College Dublin) introduced the ClimEx-PE project during a recent presentation at the International Association of Hydrogeologists, Irish Group, annual conference. The conference took place in Tullamore, Co. Offaly, Ireland on the 16th and 17th of April 2024. The theme of the conference was Groundwater & Nature Based Solutions.  Nature Based Solutions is an approach that promotes nature as a means for providing solutions to climate mitigation and adaptation challenges, and the concept is at the core of EU policies and frameworks.  The IAH (Irish Group) Groundwater conference was well attended by hydrogeologists, engineers, local authorities, consultants, planners, environmental scientists, public health officials, professionals and practitioners from a variety of sectors. The conference provided a good platform to showcase the ClimEx-PE project and introduce it to practitioners in the sector.
