Successful Workshop at ELTE for ClimEx-PE Project
On March 25, 2024, at ELTE hosted a pivotal workshop for the ClimEx-PE project. The event brought together key ELTE participants, including Ferenc Takó from the Rector's Cabinet, István Hoffman from the Faculty of Law, Andrea Velich from the Faculty of Humanities, Attila Varga from the Faculty of Education and Psychology, and Ferenc Gyuris from the Faculty of Science, alongside the hydrogeology research team of ELTE.
The workshop featured a keynote presentation by Helen Deise Sequeira Barbosa, a PhD student from Södertörn University in Stockholm. Her talk, titled “Managed Aquifer Recharge Practices for Sustainability in Hungary: Applicability, Challenges, and Opportunities” sparked engaging discussions among the attendees. Participants provided valuable feedback and expressed their willingness to collaborate on the project.
Following the keynote, Ildikó Erhardt presented an overview of the ClimEx-PE project, highlighting its objectives and significance. Brigitta Czauner, Work Package #1 leader, outlined the tasks for the upcoming semester, which led to a lively discussion.
The workshop concluded with a summary by Judit Mádl-Szőnyi, who emphasized the project's future tasks and the importance of maintaining strong connections with international partners.
This workshop was instrumental in setting the stage for the ClimEx-PE project, fostering collaboration, and ensuring a shared understanding of the project's goals and tasks among all participants.
